Orthodontics is a complex area of dentistry requiring specialist skills, knowledge, experience and expertise. Individual patient fees reflect the complexity, timescale and skill required to achieve the desired outcome.
That’s why I use a fair patient fee structure based on the Index of Treatment Complexity, Outcome and Need (ICON). This index takes into account the the nature and duration of the treatment for upper and lower teeth, as well as customized orthodontic appliances.
During the initial orthodontic consultation, patients always receive a written quotation including fees and a projected treatment schedule.
